270 KM

Donny Dhirgantoro has a story about climbing Semeru mountain under title 5 cm. I am also have a story about my trip to Cilacap with my big family during December 30^th 2012 until January 1^st 2013 to visit my grandmother’s brother because long time no see which we went there by three cars under title 270 km. In fact, the title is taken from the distance which we through it between my home at Karanganyar to Cilacap

We started the trip from my grandmother’s house at 8 pm which situated at Sukoharjo whereas my big family gathered. The first, we picked up my uncle and my aunt who lived in Jogja. So, when we reached Klaten, the car which I drove was trapped in traffic jam whereas many cars maked a long line. Fortunately, it was not happened with two other cars. They can escaped from traffic jam.

Then, two cars waited my car which was still trapped at Klaten. They waited me at main gate of UMY after picked up my uncle and my aunt. So, we continued our trip towards Wates. We drove on high speed and sometimes we did zig-zag movement to overtake the other cars. Lately, we arrived to Cilacap at 6 pm.

The next day we went to Teluk Penyu beach which actually we went to Gunung Simping beach in the morning and it maked us bored to play water anymore. Then, we decided to rent a boat to go toNusa Kambangan island. We rent two boats to go over there.

After we satisfied with the view of Nusa Kambangan island, we decided to go home. So, we took coastal area route because it was new year eve and we did not want to be trapped in traffic jam. And in the middle of trip, we took a rest at Petanahan beach which is situated at Kebumen. We took a lunch and rode horse around beach.

            Finally, we arrived at my grandmother’s house at 11 pm. Then, my family continued the trip to Karanganyar which spent time a year because we were trapped a traffic jam in Solo and we arrived at home at 1 am or the next year. Even I felt exhausted, I was happy because that was my first experience to drive through 270 km which spent 10 hours.
